Redundant CRAH Units

All of our client and carrier provider equipment is cooled through Stulz-ATS Cyber AiR CRAH (computer room air handler) units that are arranged in an N+4 configuration. Each CRAH features an electronically commutated (EC) fan with a V-frame coil design.

V-Frame Coil Benefits:

  • Air flow is optimized
  • Pressure drop is minimized
  • Water carry-over into the air stream is eliminated

Accompanying this design are efficient Stulz Ultrasonic humidifiers, which provide necessary humidification levels without adding any heat to the data center. A very fine vapor mist and high-frequency signal eliminate the need to boil water, which results in 93 percent less electrical use than more common humidifiers.
