The N+1 setup of the chiller plants supports our concurrently maintainable philosophy, and McQuay's modular design lessens repair time and allows for swift growth.
Each module includes a 720 ton chiller, two cooling towers and a thermal storage tank along with multiple internal redundancies.
Our McQuay Modular Central Plants are ETL certified, use HFC-134a refrigerant, and are UL listed. This has zero ozone depletion potential and no phase-out schedule under the Montreal Protocol. The UL listing also allows for quick scalability since the plants are pre-certified and limit any installation issues with municipalities.
