By operating what McQuay International has called the most redundant central water plant it has ever constructed of its type, we are able to provide you with highly efficient cooling to help optimize performance of your servers. The N+1 setup of the chiller plants supports our concurrently maintainable philosophy, and McQuay's modular design lessens repair time and allows for swift growth.
Each module includes a 720 ton chiller, two cooling towers and a thermal storage tank along with multiple internal redundancies.
McQuay Modular Central Plants
Our McQuay Modular Central Plants are ETL certified, use HFC-134a refrigerant, and are UL listed. This has zero ozone depletion potential and no phase-out schedule under the Montreal Protocol. The UL listing also allows for quick scalability since the plants are pre-certified and limit any installation issues with municipalities.

Each plant comes in a single pre-engineered, pre-assembled
package containing:
- Chillers
- Cooling towers
- Pumps
- Piping
- Controls
Our central plants also feature multiple critical redundant
components including:
- Headers
- Water towers
- Pumps and electrical distribution systems
- Redundant air conditioners to keep their own interiors cooled
